Nordea seminar, April 2011: Russian and Polish culture and mentality

Nordea’s evaluation of the seminar

Firstly, I would like to praise Jon and Claus for their insight and knowledge. They know what they are talking about first-hand and they are very competent. Both were very good in providing real-life examples as a supplement to their presentations. They were engaged and humorous, which made it easy to be attentive for a full day of foreign culture and mentality. It says a lot, I believe, that all my colleagues did not leave the course until the last second.

Since we interact with both countries in our company, I find that it gave the course an extra dimension to deal with both of them at the same time. It gave us the opportunity to understand the differences between the two countries culturally and mentally, as well as their likenesses. My personal opinion is that this way of executing the course helped putting our own Danish culture in the background, since we were able to focus on two other cultures. I believe this contributes to understanding the differences better because you do not have to benchmark against your own culture.

I warmly recommend Jon and Claus to others who might have the same needs. Simultaneously, I will consider using them again in case other staff of mine is in need of the same information.
